In 2016, with zero outdoor experience, I decided to hike the Grand Canyon. Aided by a Google search bar and a glass of Cabernet, I made reservations and embarked on a life-changing year.
My weekly training treks ultimately morphed into 52 Weeks 52 Hikes. Who knew I'd find my gym, my therapist, and my church out on the trail.

After my year on the trails I went down a new path and became an author, speaker, and freelance writer.
What started as a small group for a few friends quickly transformed into a movement across thirty-plus countries of like-minded individuals who are ready to reconnect physically, mentally, and spiritually.
